This comic was created and posted in the sleep-deprived hours before dawn. When I woke up the next day, it seemed like it might be confusing to the average reader. These footnotes are provided for those who need them:
Jultomten is the elf who delivers Christmas presents in Sweden and other parts of Northern Europe, with the aid of a little goat who pulls his sleigh.
In Germany, Christmas gifts are brought by a young lady called Das Christkind, "The Christ Child." In this comic, I have elected to present Das Christkind as a spirit-like visitor.
Mammon, according to the science of demonology, is the prince of avarice [insatiable greed]. In the words of the first century rabbi Yeshua bar Yosef, "No one can serve both God and Mammon."
